Roles & Permissions
Uzaif Inventory uses strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure security and proper delegation of responsibilities within your organisation.
Below is a breakdown of the four core organizational roles available in the system. When an Org Admin invites a new user, they must assign exactly one of these roles.
Organisation Administrator (org_admin)
Role
Full control over the organisation. Typically assigned to founders, business owners, or IT directors.
Can Do
- •Manage Users & Invitations
- •Access Billing & Subscriptions
- •View System Audit Logs
- •Modify Organisation Settings
- •Access all Sales, Inventory, and Purchase data
Cannot Do
- •Cannot access other organisations
- •Cannot access the Super Admin platform panel
Inventory Manager (inventory)
Role
Restricted to warehouse and stock operations.
Can Do
- •Create and Edit Items & Categories
- •Perform Stock Adjustments
- •Manage Suppliers
- •Create Purchase Orders
Cannot Do
- •Cannot view Sales Reports or Profit & Loss
- •Cannot access Customer Data
- •Cannot modify Users or Billing
Billing & Sales (billing)
Role
Restricted to customer-facing operations and POS.
Can Do
- •Create Invoices & Estimates
- •Manage Customer CRM
- •Process Payments
- •Perform Day-End closures
Cannot Do
- •Cannot modify Stock Adjustments
- •Cannot create Purchase Orders
- •Cannot view overall Profit & Loss
Auditor (auditor)
Role
A strict read-only role designed for external accountants or compliance officers.
Can Do
- •View all Sales & Purchase records
- •Generate VAT & Financial Reports
- •View Bank Reconciliation statuses
- •Access the Audit Log
Cannot Do
- •Cannot create or edit any records
- •Cannot perform Day-End closures
- •Cannot manage users
